Edgerton Library
We’re excited to offer a new event for teens this month!
Who: Local 7th-12th grade students
What: Murder Mystery Party
When: Saturday, November 20 at 1:00pm (with possible second party at 6:00pm…see below information)
Cost: Free
Local 7th-12th grade students are invited to a Once Upon a Time Murder Mystery Party. Each guest will be assigned a role in a mystery plot and will interact with other attendees to solve a fictional crime. Character costumes are encouraged but not necessary. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, November 11 in order to pre-assign character roles to guests. The party storyline is limited to a set # of guests; therefore, if the number of registered attendees exceeds the allotted guests, junior high and high school students will be separated into two parties. If two parties are hosted, the junior high students will sleuth at 1:00pm, and the high school students will solve a Thanksgiving themed crime, beginning at 6:00pm.
Please register attendee’s name, grade, and contact information via email/messenger, phone call, or in person at the library front desk.
Food and beverages will be served and prizes will be awarded! Let us know if you have any questions and be sure to invite your teenage friends!
You can watch a video about the theme of the party here
This event is Sponsored with a grant from Prairielands.
